personally I would go with accel or msd. the 4.0 is no high performance engine so no sense is going crazy, but don't go bottom of the barrel either for longevity. I see your only 19 Y.O. and learning , sorry about being a smart ass earlier!

AutoZone probably is fine. I used 8mm plugs from Summit just because I found them on sale. I'd probably say matching your desired engine color scheme is the best deciding factor.

AutoLites are perfect and shouldn't have any issues at 8k.

I put an Accel (Holley owns this brand) cap, rotor and I replaced my coil so I had a good baseline of ignition parts.

Again...I was chasing misfires too...I didn't find a smoking gun like your spark plug wires...so I was firing the parts canon at my Jeep...but at the same time recognizing my previous owner hung a bunch of cheap parts on my 97.

Use a good conductive grease...it'll help cut down on corrosion.

Great, thanks! Just remembered, the wires said they already had grease on them and said it isn’t necessary to add more. Should I add more? Or leave it?

if you add any be sure to use dielectric grease and not just normal old grease.....
