CPS issue

2006 jeep wrangler X

Yesterday, on the way home from work after starting fine and travellings about 4 miles the jeep shuddered, then smoothed out and I drove home as normal. The CEL came on when it happened and I got a P0300 and P0339 code when I got home.
I replaced the CPS last night, disconnected the battery to clear the code and went to bed. This morning it started fine but gave a shudder (CEL light came back-P0339) after a minute or so while idling. Drove to work without issue EXCEPT at about 2300 rpm the shudder comes back, below 2300 rpm-no issue.
Any suggestions?

What brand sensor did you install? I had a similar issue that was eventually fixed with a Mopar sensor. The hard part is finding one but not impossible.

I also read about a crank/cam sync procedure but no shops seem to know what that is or have the proper scanner to do it.

I used a sensor from oreillys. Picking up o e from napa today along with a new connector and see if that does it.

I replaced my camshaft and crankshaft sensors with NTK brand. Solved all my issues.
