OK where are those promised pictures and description we were promised?
How much Bumpstop reduction would you gain if you cut? Here’s what I’m looking at at dummy bump on the driver side. Passenger side clears. Full 93” wheelbase. Do you think I should cut that crossmember?View attachment 165835View attachment 165836View attachment 165837
I have 1 7/8” bump in the rear. It starts touching 2” before full bump. So, I would need 3 7/8” bumpstop, which is unacceptable. How much Bumpstop reduction would you gain if you cut?
I agree it looked great in that thread on the other forum. Hard to stop spending money on these things, but it’s time for me to wheel for awhileI think from looking at those pictures of the Savvy tank skid that might be the WHOLE ticket.
Please don't. Gasoline belongs outside the tub interior. Preferably under the tub, if given the choice. There’s always the option of the 15 gallon gas tank behind the back seat. That would give me some clearance!
No, it did not clear that boltBeen following as my rear JKS Trackbar (at full 2" bump) hits the savvy bolt (farthest passenger). With the core bar, did it push the bar out past those bolt spots? I don't think I can eliminate any additional bump so it's almost a moot point but don't like the contact.

the GenRight tank I installed has an extra 5" between the tank and axle and its 19.5 gals, it mounts to the frame and not the cross member. There’s always the option of the 15 gallon gas tank behind the back seat. That would give me some clearance!

I bet it’s the GR EXT.Interesting they must have changed their design because mine bolts to the crossmember. Which tank do you have?

Mounts in stock tank location, with 4 of the factory bolts and 2 new forward mounts through the frame.
coilovers or just outboarded shocks? I dream of that tank sometimesI've been trying to figure out what the difference is between the EXT and the COMP tanks? You can get up to 23 gallons with the new COMP tanks and still get stretch but you have to have coilovers.
