Once every 4 years, eh?I will say I think women’s volleyball is pretty fun to watch.
I’m the same way, I’ll watch volley ball and a few other sports in the olympics I normally wouldn’t otherwise.Yep!![]()
At least there’s one. I thought they were all goners.
I like threads like these because I care so little about the topic that when someone posts again 3 months later I've forgotten that I already read it until I get to my first reply.Still going
This is exactly what will happen if this trend continues. There's a finite amount of dollars coming into the organization every year, so at some point in order to remain solvent they're going to have to reduce compensation from one side to satisfy the other.Nothing to do with what's between my legs and if the employers in my field were forced to pay everybody the same, they'd just pay me less, not everybody else more.
Soccer is boring as fuck. My own opinion about the sport aside, this whole deal is completely stupid. Professional sports, boring to me or not, are a business. According to the article @Apparition posted there's a viewership disparity of 2.84 million between the men's & women's leagues. Why in good sense should they both be compensated as though that disparity doesn't exist?

Sadly the women already made more than the men in a division that brought in less money, than them men's, to begin with. So now the women's division is going to make even less profit, and possibly go into the red if viewership drops. So what happens then? Do they dip into the profits from the men's to pay the women, or do they dissolve the women's team all together?Soccer is boring as fuck. If they quit all the woke BS that would probably help. I have female friends from HS that played soccer through college and absolutely love the game to this day. A few of them said they stopped watching the women's division when all the "Equal Pay" BS started.Grow your game ladies. The money will follow.
