Should I keep my OEM wheels?

Wheels are NOT in very good shape. Tires seem ok. Will get them balanced and run them for awhile.

As has been said many times on this forum, that tire size looks good on unlifted TJ. I agree. I hope the ride and handling does not suffer too much.

according to the date stamp on thes tyres they were manufactured in Sept '22 which means they are 3+ years old

the stock Wranglers have a habit of hardening up over time IMHO

unless you have space in a climate controlled area or intend to use them for your utility trailer you might be able to recover part of your intended expenditure by selling them

IF you have a utility trailer that has a 5x4.5" bolt pattern these tyres n wheels could possibly be used on it providing you with an extra spare or 5 for emergency situations when out n about

in my area utility trailers come w/ 205 or 215 x 15" ST tyres mounted on el cheapo rims w/ 5x4.5" bolt pattern which are less than stellar performance/longevity/capacity wise IMHO

note ... my E-150 uses the same sized tyres as my TJ and my latest trailer acquisition has been tyred the same AND they all sport the same bolt pettern

justa different way of looking at your options
