Long time lurker of the forum and finally registered to seek some advice from experts before I start building my TJ.
Back story, owned my 2000 TJ (weekend cruiser) and a built 2015 JKU Rubicon Hard Rock (for trails) at the same time for years but sold the Rubicon awhile back and have decided to upgrade the TJ for mild trails (No rock crawling).
Currently the TJ is a 2000 Sport 4.0 32RH auto with stock 3.07 gears (Dana30/35 axles) on a 33x10.50R15 on OEM 15x8 5-hole aluminum wheels (Canyon style?) with spacers and what looks like a 20yr old 3" Superlift (coils, T-case drop, and shocks). Bought it from the original owner this way.
I'm going to order Fusion Elite 44s for it and replace the suspension/steering with MetalCloak (short arm). I will likely step up to 35x10.5R15 in the future and will retain the stock fenders. Fusion offers stock width 60.5", 63.5", or JK width. With the current/future tires in mind and wanting to get rid of the spacers, should I go 63.5" instead of stock 60.5"?
Has anyone ran these Method 15x7" beadgrip wheels (MR414570121243) on a TJ? If not, anyone see why they couldn't? Considering trying these to replace the current wheels i have on it.
