One was 22 1/4, the other looked more like 22 1/2, unless I’m crazy. Yes, the free length is fantastic. Love the true progressive rate spring. What did you think of the free length of those Curries? Crazy huh!

The bad thing is tires are hard to come by due to Covid. Usually I see tons of 35’s for sale around here. I’ll watch and wait as production creeps up. My 33” Razr’s have 2,000 miles on them, and they’re a great tire. The only thing missing is 35s!
No, and with the total shock travel, I wouldn’t want less than 4.5”, and no more than 5”.I saw on the Fox website that shock fits 3-4 1/2" lifts. No way in check that shock would work on a 3" lift without relocating the mounts!
Yeah, looks like it’s a direct swap. And did you notice the advertised lift amount? 4 door JKU giving same amount as a TJ and same as an LJ. How can that be? A JKU is heavier than an LJ which is heavier than a TJ. Then they list them as giving 5” on a 2 Door JK. Really odd.looks good.
i noticed this yesterday.............i've seen the question about using JK take off springs for cheap TJ replacements. i thought most times the answer was , no. but this box label suggests differently.

Now I'm curious. Hoping someone can chime in with why this is the case!Yeah, looks like it’s a direct swap. Now that I think about this, years ago I experimented with three different sets of JK coils on my LJ. For the front, there was only a 1" variance between all three, when installed on my LJ. The rears however were a different story. All of those netted 2.5 to 3". Based on that, I think your assumption may be correct, i.e. the weight on the nose isn't dramatically different between a JK and TJ/LJ.I've suspected the front of a jk (JL/JT) isn't significantly heavier than front of a tj despite thier larger proportions. This kinda confirms it
What, no pics? Slacker!I’m so tired after doing the rear, I’m just reporting I’m done!
Yeah, the MCE’s give that impression. They also provide meaningful clearance. It’s not only the removal of the stock fender lip, but cutting the fender so far back toward the hood ends up giving 1.25” of additional up clearance. Too bad I can’t use any of it with the Fox shocks.Funny... Mine looks like that too... Looks like we both skipped leg day! The MCE fenders make it look even taller!
