First a little background early in the year i replaced water pump. Then replaced radiator. AC WAS SERVICED LAST SEPT.
This spring it was noticed ac not working took back to shop fixed ac again they replaced the ac condenser this time. Ac has been working great temp up in 111 in vegas area i noticed temp on jeep has been operating over 210 in normal range. The other day i drove it for about 20 miles sitting at the light ",check gauses" light come up and it was near 260.then i shut off ac then the temp dipped to about 220 Then at times the temp climbs up to like 258 260 ....we shut off ac seems like temp will drop but not certain that is causing issue. I did notice shop replaced my OEM radiator fluid with green after maker universal fluid. Im wondering if the coolant is the problem? Any help would be great

When the water pump and radiator were replaced; who are the makers of the new water pump and radiator; was the cooling system chemically cleaned ?
Was the radiator cap and thermostat replaced, what is the operating pressure and temperature; who are the makers ?
Was the clutch fan replaced and who is the maker ?
These are the most likely parts problems that could cause these problems.

In addition to the above comments, you have on 01 which is known for cracked heads. Remove the oil cap and look straight down. If you see green coolant seeping through, the head is cracked. If you see TUPY, the head has been replaced with the upgraded casting. Also check the oil for coolant.

Well well well this is a new radiator lots of debris in this radiator. She is new since January...now I wonder if the shop that fixed my ac did this? Can anyone rationally explain where this all came from?

I highly recommend back flushing the radiator before you add a chemical flush.

I’ve seen chunks like this survive the chemical flush. I’ve also seen chunks slowly break down a pace that I wouldn’t want to deal with again. That’s why I recommend back flushing with a hose first.

Hose flush, chemical flush, distilled water flushes, and then add coolant and distilled water to achieve 50/50 or a bit higher coolant to water ratio. FWIW, I found no penalty for running more coolant than water (greater than 50/50).

Also, if you don’t drain the block at the end, adding one gallon of G05 to begin the final fill will get you to approximately 50/50.
