The Cricut is capable of cutting multicolor decals up to 48" long (like hood-side decals) so I had to do a test.
My favorite "jeep" of all time isn't a "Jeep" at all, it's the Mahindra Savari:
I like pretty much everything about it, including the camel train graphics on the sides.
I created a vector graphics version of the Mahindra image, adapted for my JKU Safari Cab:
A printout to check the fit:
I cut the decal in 3 colors on my Cricut using removable vinyl (because it's a test for now). The palm tree and "SAFARI" have been on the hardtop since I built it; if I decide to do these decals in permanent vinyl I'd probably remove that and recut the tree and SAFARI in black.

I was going to have some hood stickers made with a mandolorian saying "This is the way" and have the child pointing forward. But My wife did some financial organizing of the new TJ build and suggested "MY401K-00TJ" instead.
Looks like you can't get that one wet after midnight!

I’d definitely buy a camel train or single camel for my TJ. Posting so I can keep an eye on the thread.
Jeff, did you make all the SVG images for the retro styled decals or find them somewhere to purchase? My wife has Cricut Air 2 but i've yet to find any decent Jeep SVGs for printing out stuff.
I hesitated calling him Grogu, cause that was only a few episodes ago LOL

I do my own artwork. I've done many reproductions of Jeep emblems and logos over the years for my various Jeep projects. The other day I drew the camels.
I like this! If you start taking orders, let me know. I'd like a JEEP one for the tailgate, and maybe some half-joking self-deprecating ones for my four-banger, like "TJ-4".

Does anyone know if someone makes a 4wd plaque for the tj, like the ones in old jeeps and land cruisers? The little label with the basic instructions of how to operate the 4wd gears.

Every time J post something, I'm like ..here we go again.... cranking out professional quality stuff from his garage, while we are all trying to figure out how to flip a sunrider back or tighten the gas cap correctly.

.Back when I had my Scrambler those decals were missing so I recreated them in my drawing program. To get the proper look, I had them printed as a photo, pasted them inside the glovebox lid where they belonged and protected them with clear laminating tape. I looked but don't have any photos of them installed (it was a very long time ago) but I did find the original drawing...
Later on I converted the Dana 300 transfer case to twin stick, so I redid the shifter sticker:
I used the same technique to make new shift knob labels, in that case I also made discs out of clear plastic that fit in the groove in the top of the shift knobs to protect the photo labels.
The details are too small to cut on the Cricut but the photo technique worked great.
It seems there's good interest in custom decals so maybe someone who's interested in starting their own side business will see an opportunity for themselves and get themselves a Cricut. It wouldn't take much investment to start the business, they could start with a Cricut Joy machine like I've got for about $170 and be cranking out small volume custom stuff very quickly.
They could start with Jerry's idea of trail name decals, I'm sure those would be popular and a list of trail decals could be developed easily - all it takes is a font, no real graphics or art skill required. Decals like the "TJ-4" would be easy to do as well and also wouldn't require much art skill or much experience with a graphics program.
I've got many other ideas and projects I want to pursue so I don't have the time or interest in being in business or selling anything, so it won't be me, sorry.
I've made some stickers for my motorcycle in the past, no idea why I didn't think of this earlier for the Jeep! Love the idea of trail name stickers. I dont have a Cricut though, I send my files off to a printer and have them made. Attached is one for my Moto, it almost applies to Jeeps..lol
I have a USCUtter Titan2 for my own use, and could easily cut some decals. Not interested in a sticker business, because weeding out stickers are an absolute pain in the ass. But doing small runs of decals would be fairly easy.
I actually hoping my daughter (she's 9) starts doing stickers, be a neat little business for her if she wants later.
