The red and silver looks awesome. But so does the red and black. I bet it would look fine with the hardtop but I can’t get my brain to picture it lol
I know. I’m almost able to see it. Quite unique. I think I’m like @bobthetj03 and you just start thinking, my Jeep looks like everybody else’s Jeep. That’s not necessarily bad. Wheels and color scheme make the biggest difference. Appreciate your input. Wish I could wheel your parts. If I set up a trip, could we coordinate so I could do a lot of trails? Nothing in the near future, but maybe late 2021, in the good weather, maybe Oct-Nov?

That looks great! It’s basically what I wanted to do, but I’m afraid it’s illegal here.
They've never hassled me.

LOL,
old Man hah, he’s still a kid!
You’re ancient man. You’re like the original owner of you’re Jeep! An icon. My wife says “A silver hair.” She wants me to look like that, thinks it’s sexy. I’m close. Lots of silver. Ok, back to silver accents to the Jeep. I mean Heep.

I will definitely start working on it. What would a TJ Fest 2022 look like in AZ. Are there enough trails? You think @Chris would be up for something like that?

Is that a side marker right under the fender next to the grill? Also, did you go out today?
There is a small LED on the fender, but it faces forward & is the blinker.

I went to 7 Mile today. Had to make sure I was good and hungover so I didn't make it till about 11. It was packed, and tons of cops too. Lots of mall crawlers roaming around. And several mud pits.

That’s crazy about the cops. I’ve never seen one out there. Geez! WA, just stupid. I was out there Wednesday and nothing but about 10 rigs, most there just to sled right at the entry. I figured it would be wet and muddy after the snow. I stayed home and painted more.

Yea, wasn't just the orv park, there were a ton of cops out all over.
I followed an Acura SUV out when I left. It was crazy, hundreds of rigs there, maybe thousands.

The cops in WA are hit and miss on what they want to cite you for. I know lots of guys with tires that stick out WAY past their flares and they don't get hassled at all. But then you just happen to run across one who didn't get laid the night before.

I really got in to it one day with the State Patrol and County Sheriff at the PNW4WDA Trail Jamboree. They were sitting out by the gate waiting to write tickets. Man did I cause a stink. But it's stupid. They don't enforce the laws that should be but hassle us for stupid shit.

This state is upside down. I’m a patriot. I’ll stand with any and all of you for freedom, the constitution, our Republic for which I stand.

This took quite a bit of time, especially given the fact it was 37* outside and I had to warm the area with a heat gun. 🤣 I just thought it was right that the small 1.5” side of the grill be painted the color of the grill, so that’s what I spent 3 hours doing, while sitting in my chair between coats, drinking a beer, and getting heat from the heat gun. Side markers will get a flasher relay soon so they can be pressed back in. Great day!

AntiRock arriving Tuesday. Making a quantum leap this year, but staying on 33’s. I’m not opposed to bigger tires at all. I commend those who’ve gone to them, and I may follow in their footsteps, I just want to keep on edge for some obstacles . There comes a point where you’re just driving over things. I think that’s fine for some people, they get a lot of joy out of the building element. Trails become too easy though. I like to build too. My goals are perfection; a perfect setup, picking the best lines for my build, and enjoying the journey. Many of you have helped me along the way. Thank you.

It turned out great!

Removed the sway bar in preparation for the AntiRock. Bu-bye. Can’t say I’m going to miss disconnects. Pushed the side markers slightly in till the flasher relay comes in. Everything looks pretty clean even though most of the Jeep is dirty!
