IDK, but I don't see where I'd need an adapter. I tried to call them to work some of this out, but they're out of the office today. I'm not even sure the one's I ordered will work with my TJ, but the 3-pins looked the same. When I go to Fitment, our TJ's are not listed, but who knows because when I type in the search bar for Jeep TJ H4 turn light signals, those headlights come up.

Work on work all day, work on Jeep by night. Got the rear drivers side MCE flare on, then re-visited the front passenger fender. Due to the ww2ww slider, there was a gap between the flare and the tub. I removed it enough to trim some material and get it flush. Then I smashed some RTV to the inside edge to shut out any light. Turned out good. I bought some spray in bed liner to paint the fender wells.

this piece seems irrelevant to me, so I’m leaving it off. I don’t want a hole in the front of my fender anyway.

However, this sheet metal seemed to be a valid spot to add some support, so I drilled a pilot hole and added a self tapping screw.

Coping it seems like the right choice.

What was a little strange, was I had to take off more at the base and less as I moved up. A tapered cut I guess is the description. I didn’t expect that just eyeballing it, so you have to take a little bit off at a time till you get there. It’s not perfect, and the inner bracket had to be modified too once I trimmed all that off. MCE built that bracket to work with the flare directly against the tub. At least it was aluminum, so cutting it was not that big a deal.

I wish I knew exactly how you did that. It looks so good. What kind of tape did you use? Is the tape put down first, then some kind of silicone or RTV? I like the print on the MCE fender too. Are they Generation 1?
I do a lot of taping and caulking, I used silicone caulking from work and the carbon fiber look fenders are 10 yrs old now, gen 1’s I guess, they also used to have silver back then Too.

Originally I was planning to body match the MCE’s, then paint my sliders and bumpers silver. I might still, but I’m going to live with them black for awhile.

Pretty much finished the driver’s side. I broke some hardware, so I’ll have to go back tomorrow for one more bolt. I think I’ll buy 10 and never think about it again.

I drilled out the center of the 3 holes for the fender support the grille for the 3.4” side markers. This one’s just mocked up. Aesthetically pleasing to me.

Next I want to clean up the entire fender well and paint it with bedliner, like mrBlaine suggests. Yes, my iPad capitalized the b in Blaine. Overall I’m pleased with the aesthetics of the MCE’s, though I’m not sure they will last. The best news is I will not have to add any more bumpstop.

33‘s are starting to look small.

Well shit! I am due for tires. I ordered some Maxxis Razr’s through a guy who knows a guy. That fell through. The unfortunate thing is you can only get Maxxis tires around here through Les Sxchwab or whatever its called, or 4wp. I’d rather go through 4wp. February is buy 3 get one free month. I may wait till then and forget going through the guy who knows a guy Who knows a guy who can get you a deal.

I know Les Schwab can be a little more expensive but you have to look at what you are getting.
Free tire rotations, Tire Replacement which can be worth it if you rip a hole in your sidewall & then all the other stuff.

You might want to check with your local Les Schwab but they use to replace our tires even if damaged off-road. I had a Super Swamper replace that I ripped a sidewall on. And I had a few buddies do the same also.

I didn’t understand the tape part. I was like, I don’t see any tape and I never used tape, I just put down the bead of caulk, and use a wet finger to smooth it.

I guess I missed that question. 3M Blue Tape and you tape both sides of what you want to caulk and tool it with your finger.
