I'm in the same boat. I have a pair of H4 housing that I bought from Chris. But I can always change.

Yeah, you can change, you’re the Wildman!

How’s your Jeep coming? When do you project you’ll have it together?

I'm going to be installing the cam tomorrow and then going from there. It'll take a few days to get it degreed in and then I have to wait until Jan 4 for the adjustable push rods to get here. But I'll have the heads installed by then.

Tomorrow I've got to order some more parts I need. I'm hoping before April & the trip to Moab but not 100% sure.

Big ticket item is shocks & winch parts. I think if I got about $4K I could buy everything I still need. But I'll get there.
Things like my daughters car breaking down doesn't help. That took all my savings money.

I've also thought about something like this mounted onto the grill. It would be different.....

i been lookin at lights as well......gonna need something on those rear corners, when installed. i like the Savvy lights but not that price tag.
i'm undecided between a 4" round or those 3/4-1" button bulbs.

those button bulbs are small enough to be tab mounted to 1 of the fender bolts at the grill.

Wow... Big changes.

Regarding the lighting dilemma, it's cliche, but running JK lights in a CJ location in the grill is about the only way to complete a flat fender mod. That's my opinion, anyway.

I like the concept you have of the side marker being in the flare, but like @jjvw said, if you use them as designed, those wires will probably get ripped off. You've already demonstrated that you don't mind smashing fenders so....

Behind the flare is interesting. It would be a pain to install, but it's a creative solution. A lot of european cars have them back there.

@Wildman, I had to sleep on it, but I think this one does it for me. No cutting, and I can just run them as turn signals, so minimal, but functional! Good find!

I’ll put the side marker near where @DrDmoney and @jjvw did. Everything is really clean and out of the way then

Glad to help as it gave me a chance to look at lights again. I will be watching to see how you like these housings and might follow you if you give them good reviews.

It looks really good. With the hole saw in the grill, how did you clean up the edges? You’ve been making some serious moves I missed somewhere. HiLines.

EDIT: What size shoes are those? They ain’t 32’s
I just used a 3 1/8 hole saw cleaned the edges with a file and then painted the raw metal. I haven’t updated my build thread in awhile but they’re 35 km3s. Final plan is 3 inch Currie/savvy coils metalcloak arms and the mild tuck I already have. I know how most feel about lcog here but the 35s highlines 2 inch springs 1 inch body lift and tuck works well.

Now WHY are these more expensive than the pair you ordered? I wonder what makes them cost more?

More expensive but I like these Black headlights. Wonder how it would look on my White TJ?

I think black wheels and black accents look very good on white TJ's, and that's the direction I would go if I had a white TJ. Actually, white TJ's are one of my favorite colors, along with flame red, intense blue pearl, silver, and impact orange. Love Intense Blue

@Wildman, actually, as I look at those headlights again, both say 12V (which duh, obviously they'd have to be), so I don't know what the difference is. Oh wait, it's the price! 🤣

I like that Intense Blue. I like White also and I have the black headlight rings also so I think it would look pretty good.

Yes I looked at all the info and couldn't find any difference. Might have to send them a email and ask.

That's what I would have done if I didn't do the MCE's. HiLine and 35's on 3+1.25. Obviously, the latter option is much more expensive. I still want to do it later when my kids are out of college. At the same time, wheeling on 33's is fun and more challenging.
