Lets see your best Jeep memes

I went and test drove one and honestly liked it a LOT but I was really worried about it moving my fat Jeep... If it was closer to 4K lbs I might of thought about it. But I also know that it's that ONE TIME you need to stop or maneuver around something that gets you even if it's OK 90% of the time .
Mine pulls my Wrangler up the mountains at 55 no problem except for very steep areas. It is a dog if somebody cuts me off and I lose my momentum though. Coming back over Vail pass I'll do maybe 40 if I lose momentum. If it didn't have the 8 speed transmission I think this would be an entirely different conversation. One thing I HAVEN'T done yet though is re-gear it. I think that would make it even better.

I did get a WD hitch and that makes all the difference in the world in the way it handles. Works for me.
I wish they'd offer a 3/4 ton Jeep pickup.

That would be nice.

I guess my memory is serving me wrong as I thought they offered the Cummins in the older PW to. But I guess I'm remembering wrong.
2027 Model year will be the first Cummins offering in the Power Wagon from Ram. That doesn't mean AEV didn't build "a few"
Cummins equipt expedition style vehicles that would make Power Wagon owners cry out in fits of jealousy.

AEV Prospector XL Mega Cab Diesel. it's only money right?

I swear way back when... Like late 1990's when they came out with the new nose they'd offered the diesel as an option but I can't find anything saying that... Maybe it was one of the magazines saying they weren't offering it due to room or something. But I swear they'd road tested a Cummins PW back then.

Their specific reasoning for not using a diesel was there was no room for the intercooler with the winch capable bumper in place. My guess is they are now offering it with the diesel without a winch, because people bitching over the years, saying "I want a diesel Power Wagon and I don't care if you can't put a winch on it", was finally enough to convince them to acquiesce.

Yes I remember all that but I swore they did a road test of one. But my brain is addled & I have CRS so it could be a mistaken memory.

@Zorba you're talking about commercial rigs being cheaper than a 1 ton truck... This is selling right now for $35K 16' bed.

2015 Freightliner Cascadia, DD13 with a DT12 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION tuned and deleted, 16' flat bed, APU, REFRIGERATOR, CONVECTION OVEN, lots of cabinets, heat and A/C, NEW STEER TIRES, around a million miles, previously it was an owner operator expedient box truck, the couple that ran it retired and I bought it from them and turned it into this toy hauler! It has been exceptionally maintained! Runs and rides excellent!
