Brandon's Arles Blue TJ

Sounds like a blast having done it a month ago! 😂

From what I've seen, they seem slightly better than regular single beadlocks because you can use the long bolts to bring the pieces together. And far less bolts! But there's an o-ring and inner beadlock to deal with instead. So it might be a trade-off. I've seen a few videos of guys mounting them in 10-15 minutes without it being some kind of rush.

Those really work on your Jeep. And, of course, they’re BadA—

Thanks!

And thanks @Wildman , I decided to go ahead and throw the plate on instead of waiting for my armor.

I don’t mean any disrespect, but don’t make me laugh. 😂

With the Hutchinson I would guess if you're GOOD at it 30 minutes is possible. Their insert is softer than wat I use on the Stazworks rims.
And once you've got getting the o-ring in place it's Boom-Boom done.

It isn't the same as doing normal beadlocks. Did you watch that video I'd linked?

No, and that may be! I hope so for his sake! That would be a nice feature.

It’s my day off! I’ll watch video tomorrow! Want to see this, but it makes sense. I follow what you’re saying.

Once you get the insert into the tire you're now slapping two halves of the rim together... is pretty much what it is. And then tighten down the bolts holding the two halves together... The tightening in sequence like with yours & my beadlocks isn't the same.

Must be some torque specs to follow or something!? Sounds like the hard part is getting the inserts inside. Cool wheels.

Since I don't have them I have no idea but YES I'm sure there must be... I know about dual beadlocks from the military... Hummers had run-flats instead of the inserts.

Picture of the Hutchinson breakdown.

What SUCKS about them now is that they are $900 each unless you find them used.

One other thing to note is that these are studs and not bolts so you're not reaching around a tire or through the center to hold a wrench like on my Stazworks rims.

I had apparently missed that post. I'm sure the first one or two will take longer, but overall, it seems like breaking them down might be the biggest time suck. I'll also be taking my time to inspect the o-ring on each one. They're only like $25 so if there's any concern I'll just set that wheel aside and move on to the next.

There's three nice longer studs that give you a nice pattern to go around in. They go to 100lbs and there's "only" like 20 instead of 50 per wheel.

Here's a couple of the videos that have been the best. There's way more content on these than I expected.

You may need tire spoons to break them down since the rubber adherers to metal of the rims. And that can take a little bit of force to get them apart.

Yea I've got a set picked out on Amazon and sent my wife the link (I don't have the prime login saved). Dropped off the wheels and tires to be separated. Don't have time to wait on them so we'll pick them up sometime tomorrow.

I love the look of those wheels and they look especially good with that color. Also, dual bead locks are great.

Thanks, they're a little less incognito than your coyote's. I'm really pleased with the way they look and excited to get my other tires on.

Coming along nicely. On the next camping trip don’t be surprised if parts go missing and end up on mine . 🤣

I'm going to have to start putting anti-theft nuts on everything lol and of course avoid accepting any food or drink from others that might be laced with something to knock me out.

@bbaldwin237 watched the video. Those are really cool. Super interesting design and setup! Makes me want a set!!!!

Unfortunately like Rick said, they're insanely expensive now if you can't find them used. But they do show up from time to time.
