Brandon's Arles Blue TJ

Ok, I can share now that they're in the back of my truck! Full set of 5 matching Hutchinson Rock Monsters! The tires are rough but they'll be very temporary until I get mine switched over. As I mentioned, I had no intention of getting new wheels but got them with tires for what I feel was a good deal given the wheels. I'll try to get a few hundred back from my current wheels and these tires to offset the cost even more. I was looking forward to half doors, but they can wait.

@Plumber1 yours helped me convince my wife!

They'll be on tomorrow morning! Haha it'll be a couple weeks to get my tires on but I've got to get them bolted up.

I guess I'd ask Why? I'd get those old tires off and inspect your o-rings and inserts to make sure everything is OK so you can order any parts you might need...
Contact me for advice on how to get those inserts out and then into your other tires... It's a PITA And I've done it with 3 sets of tires so far too...

If you go to Hutchinsons website (if you haven't already) the instructions are on there... But I might have a tick or two also.

I've read through the instructions a couple times and watched a few videos. They've been on two different TJ's in the past 2 months so I'm fairly confident that they're ok for now. I really just want to see them on there

At a buddies house up near Sedro Woolley. It'll buff out.

Poor XJ!

We're definitely fortunate given what others have experienced lately and what could've been. We have a lot of trees and only lost some easily replicable items. On the plus side, it has us looking at a VersaTube carport that would cover the entire 28x20 area where I park my truck, Jeep, and boat. It's like $4000 which seems pretty reasonable to cover everything.

I still have to go to work today, but I couldn't resist rolling one up when I got home. They're going to look so good.

Those will look fantastic. Double bead locks. Dang bro! Sweet! You’ll be airing down to 7.5 regularly and 2-6 in snow! I’m curious what the wheel weight is.

About 35lbs according to their website.

@Woodrow how heavy were your wheels with the added Coyote inner-beadlock? I thought I remembered you weighing them.

My current wheels are listed as 26.5lbs, but I'm willing to accept the added weight for the added benefits. The Yokohama's seem a little stuff for a C range tire. I've run them as low as 8-9 depending on the gauge and they performed awesome. I'll be curious to play with then down to 6-7 on the rocks and see how they do. But even if I stick with 8, the added security of knowing I "shouldn't" lose a bead will be nice. And if I get out into some deep snow I can go super low like Jeremy said.

Also, I'll say that I've been very pleased with the Yokohama's so far. I know a lot of Toyota guys run them and @Woodrow does as well. I was really interested in them on paper, but there wasn't a ton of info out there for actually wheeling.

The YJ I'd built when I got out of the Army back in 1992 I'd put the Geolanders on it when it was a brand new tires and very oddball tread design too.

This is what dual beadlocks can do for ya...

The rear was @ 3 PSI

This front was 0 PSI for a few before I'd realized that I'd not gotten the valve stem tighten all the way... But those Hummer rims were cheap & a fun project.
