Are you sure it didn't freeze and crack? You're in freezing country. When I lived up there (not IL - farther north), I forgot to winterize my pressure washer one winter, and I ended up replacing the pump assembly because the housing cracked.

I have karcher and found a universal pump and put it back in service. So there is another option.

I was quoted ~400$ to remove the junk from removing the flooring in my soon-to-be garage, so I am doing it myself and needed a way to get the topper off my truck by myself. Was needed eventually anyways.
Built a 3-sided box around the truck
Lift and slide some 2x4s under it
And pull out the truck! I did rat shit strap it to the box, and put a removable crossmember across the front to keep it from splitting out. There are only the supports on one side because the driveway leans that direction, so I don't see it falling the other way.

Is a little ugly, but I made it 100% out of the scrap wood, so the only thing I bought was a 31$ box of screws (which I didn't use nearly the entire box). So a win in my book, as long as it stays together!

I have a very similar set up in my back yard. Not home so no pic. I store two Jeep hardtops under in the summer which I can move around alone.
Nice! I'm glad it is way less stressful than taking the old camper off lol. That was never any fun but this only took a few minutes
Got around to building a spring compressor for motorcycle shocks yesterday. The project was laid out on a hunk o' steel several years ago then forgot about.

We finished my SIL’s 4” AEV Suspension Lift on his Ram 1500 over the weekend (Friday night till Sunday afternoon). I’m exhausted.
Now he just needs to get the 35’s installed and an alignment. At the moment it appears his truck skipped “leg day.”

BFG KO2 he found used on MarketPlace. He keeps his stock wheels and adds a 1/2” spacer up front. He’s only 20. He was thinking of having an off-road shop install the lift. The shop was going to charge ~$5000. I told him we could figure it out. They had him convinced of some Rough Country lift. We researched and I kept encouraging him toward the AEV lift with Bilstein shocks. It was only $1500. It retains the factory geometry. After we finished everything it seemed good on the first drive. He was ecstatic. When he came over later for dinner he told me there was some grinding noise. Sure enough. The passenger side axle shaft has an inner C-clip that has to click into place on the stub that enters the differential. The splines were pretty rusty. We got it on eventually though. I think he’s good now. He’ll report back later after more wheel time.
It was a great shop. We brought our own tools, but I was glad he had everything we had and everything we didn’t. He got the lift for sub $600 on a weird deal through his prior job. Every guy who came in the shop walked in and said, “Who’s Jeep is that outside?” LOL. The owner is a Jeep guy. He had a CJ-7 sitting out front, so I knew when I arrived it would be fun meeting him. We really hit it off and are planning to hit some trails together. I’m giving him a driveshaft he wants to fool around with. Just a super nice guy with a couple of friends that all got Jeep’s about 2 years ago as projects and toys. He’s got a 383 in his and his buddy has a 360. They are really loud with exhaust dumps underneath. Gearing is all wrong, but they’re working on getting it all fixed with some transmission and axle swaps. I’m excited to see where this goes.
So that's what that cost. It was done to my eff one shitty in Canuckistan before the truck ended up back in the US and I bought it.
