Barn find of the year. NOS in box Mopar Rubi fender flares.
Ah, nice, BUT they are MOPAR, which means they will most certainly fade. Spray them with Eastwood 'Plastic Resurfacer' before installing because they are a pain in the ass to "un-fade" once installed, and an even bigger pain to remove/install.
DANG! That's a good idea. I didn't want to glue stuff up there, but using velcro on that sounds like a winner.
Are those just reflective windows shades, or did you find specifically insulative material? Something like this?
Temp here gets well over 100F on sunny days and my roof is black.![]()

After installing lower brackets under the driver's seat I needed to find a good place to mount the fire extinguisher since it no longer fit in front of the seat.
Barctact has a new mount that looked like a good design, and was reasonably priced so I gave it a try. Very simple design, super easy to remove the extinguisher by just pulling on the red tabs and it will hold anything from the 2.5 to the 5lb size.
This spot is always kind of a dead spot when packing the Jeep because of the tailgate connector, and it is very easy to get to even with the soft top on.
I like it.

1 what’s the storage box behind the seatbelt & between the rear of the tub?
2 can you get easy access with the top down?
I’ve been using this one from Baract but would to get it off the toolbar https://www.bartact.com/products/fi...-holds-optional-2-5-5-lb-extinguisher-bartact
All plastic fades in the sun if left untreated. MOPAR has nothing to do with it.
On the east coast you can find new vehicles on the lot with this much surface rust hiding underneath.
Wife is always saying "It was on sale" so I just started saying that about car parts.

2006 TJ?.. You're doomed.
Please don't drink and shop; a lot of us are recovering accessorizers. There should be a help-line.
