I've seen many posts where folks relocate the locker pumps to the engine bay. I plan on putting an air compressor there. So I bought the UCF bracket to go on the UCF skid I bought ... BUT ... it isn't clear how to install it and how the OEM bracket attaches to it.

Has anyone here installed one? How about some pics if you have.

I welded the UCF bracket to the tcase skid because I couldn't figure out a way to properly bolt on the bracket. Sorry I don't have any pics but can get some this weekend.

So ... it seems my old brain has atrophied further than I thought. I did not notice, even whilst painting it, that the bracket had one end lower than the other. This, remarkably, matches the OEM pump bracket! What geniuses they are! {sigh}

I JB Welded mine. Still holding up after more than 15 years.

where did you jb weld it? Ive just had my stock one zip tied near its original location on the UCF skid, but I had originally bought the UCF relocation plate but I dont see much room on the skid for it to go. Been thinking ill just relocate to the fender.

When I get home if I can remember I’ll send you an image of mine- I cut the part off the stock skid plate the stock bracket mounts to and bolted to my Ucf skid- it had the next effect of raising the pumps close to the tub.

I know you aren’t asking specifically for this but it is worth a look…I was really surprised and pleased at the result.

Here you go- I got frustrated trying to make the ucf option work if I remember correctly and got out the angle grinder. It got the pumps way up, required no changes to the factory pump wiring or plumbing.
