Yet Another UCF Transfer Case Skid Thread

Looks like my minimum shopping list is:
  • angle track bar bracket
  • rear upper adjustable control arms
  • Rear Tom Woods drive shaft
If $$$ holds out, I'll get a front drive shaft too.

The PO did install adjustable JKS front and rear track bars as well as adjustable front lower control arms.

This is my ucf, I went with steel so i could weld it the way i want

thanks - already have a shifter cable

Another issue is when you rotate the pinion up to run the DC drive shaft your shocks may contact the lower spring perch. I first tried the brackets to relocate the shocks. That caused the shocks to be the wrong length. I ended up notching the perches.

thanks! I hadn't considered that. I'll add this to my to-do list.

I have a pair of "starter" upper rear single adjustable Rough Country control arms.

Got them on sale and they worked until I bought Savvy.

They're yours if you want to pay shipping.

Many of the "tummy tucks" I've performed have ended up with modifying the transmission mounting plate and/or the mount on the skid. I find it easier to build a transmission crossmember.

I'm finally done. I was concerned that the Tom Woods front drive shaft may require the pinion angle to be changed. It was 4 degrees low after the MML. I did not change the angle . I drove it up to 60 MPH and had no vibration.
