Rubicon Locker Pump Function

I have not, but ARBs are going in this one, so I'll be sure to do a practice tear down when I set the system up.
They have a large magnet that slides over a standpipe and is retained by the top nut. After that, there is a small spring, valve, and valve seat. Not much to them at all. The only difference on the new ones is they have a small filter in the secondary top nut to keep dirt out of the valve seat.

Doesn't he care that when he turns off the pump, it let's air out and disengages the locker? That was his question from the way I read it.

It can happen. My front stock Rubicon pump takes about 10 minutes to bleed off the pressure and unlock. Also unlucky for me, the rear locker had internal damage so I swapped in a full case Detroit for the rear, removed the front pump and swapped the connectors to use the rear pump for the front, so it unlocks normally now.
