Rear axle alignment

I'll take more pics for you guys after work. I understand it should be easy but of course its not.

I had it connected. I'm thinking that was a mistake
What are you calling the adjuster on the track bar? Were you cranking on the jamb nut with the track bar attached at both ends trying to adjust it? The only way to adjust the track bar length is to detach the track bar from one side, loosen the jamb nut and then twist the entire end of the track bar. It is impossible to adjust the track bar by cranking anything on it while attached at both ends.

single adjustable is like this and must be disconnected at the axle and the jamb nut backed off to adjust, then reconnected.

a double adjustable has three parts and can be adjusted while connected like this.

I have bottom one. 3 pieces I adjusted while connected. Like I said, and cranked it out it pulled driver side outside of fender flare and passenger side way in. So axle was really of center and still not centered

sounds like you lengthened it when you should have been shortening it.

Alright, you’re not stupid, ha, if you have the one with the adjusting sleeve, then it can be adjusted while connected, Ha. I was wondering.

I don’t think so, if it’s shifted passenger, the frame side is passenger, shorter pulls the axle passenger side (lift essentially makes it seem shorter, or same effect.

he does need it longer to bring the diff to center, makes no sense that diff would be centered and the driver and passenger wheels wouldn’t reflect Everly, at least not to my Redneck brain.

Idk man I'm so confused and disgusted. It shoukdnt be hard but yet it's impossible lol. I put it on as long as stock, then I adjusted and it didnt center the rear.

he said " cranked it out it pulled driver side outside of fender flare and passenger side way in" the passenger side of the bar is connected to the frame so lengthening it pushes it to the driver side out but his picture shows its been shortened too much or this is with the stock bar which would be shorter.

Do I still need to use the relocation bracket with the adjustable TB? could this be my problem?

The picture is with the stock TB installed. It didnt look much different with adjustable TB installed tho

I agree, but that can’t be the case and the diff be still 3” passenger, unless something is way f’d up, Ha.
If nothing makes sense, I’m just going to basics that I would do:

1 center the diff, period.
2 if wheels aren’t even, then figure out why,

There’s no logical reason this can both be happening without some major f-up is my take.

Thnx man. When I installed new TB I made it longer with adjusted end on the axle. It pushed drivers side out but not near enough then it was very noticeable with tire sticking outside of flare on driver side

Well something gotta be way f'ed up. Not sure on the rear I figured it's a 35 being 44 only came in Rubicon. What can be so f"ed up to cause this problem
