Probably an understatement! You still NEED to check your motor mounts. Post up pics.Tranny mount smoked? Just noticed it. If you need the rest of the pictures lmk thnx a million guys

Exactly how did you check the motor mounts? It's nigh-impossible to tell if a motor mount is broken by just looking at it. My broken motor mount ended up having a broken weld that only showed up by slightly jacking the engine up from that side.Motor mounts are good
I look at it like a clevite bushing. Control arms can move quite a bit when only one side is attached. Motor mounts aren't solid. There is a little bit of give in order to reduce NVH. The tranny mount is on the long side of the triangle where a little movement up front can translate into more movement back there where it was broken. The rubber in the MM could be just enough to result in what the OP had. Especially if they are worn and not necessarily broken.Exactly how did you check the motor mounts? I'm having difficulty understanding how the transfer case can be off to the side when just the transmission mount is broken. There are three drivetrain mounts and they're in a triangular pattern. How could one of those 3 points (the transmission/tcase) move over if the other two mounts (engine mounts) are still firmly bolted into place?
That possibility is not one I would be willing to just assume is the case. I'd still be checking the engine mounts, that's a lot of movement at the tcase for a rubber motor mount bushing.I look at it like a clevite bushing. Make sure to stick with rubber mounts, polyurethane mounts will make you feel like you're driving in a giant vibrator.Haha I should of bet ya. I'm gonna change em all
Ooooohhhh maybe that's how I can get my wife to go wheeling with me....Make sure to stick with rubber mounts, polyurethane mounts will make you feel like you're driving in a giant vibrator.
