Does anyone have issues with Quadratechs customer service?
I am desperately trying to reach them for question and product and got no one on the phone, call back requests go unanswered and they have two different emails that I sometimes get responses 3-4 days later.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?
I just want help.

We are coming from a 3 day weekend. They are probably behind. Sending multiple inquiries to a company can delay things even further. Just imagine how many people send multiple emails. If you only send one and keep replying to them because they haven’t replied your email gets pushed back to the top.

What product are you looking into?
I always try my best to do my own research before calling the company.

+1

Sad because I used to buy stuff all the time from them when I had XJs, and the service was awesome. Now it seems nothing on their site is in stock even though it claims to be.

I just dealt with them recently and really made me angry. Purchased some wheels for the LJ, and a matching set for trailer, of course they let the order go through knowing they didnt have all of them in stock. 11 months later I got a random refund, no explanation. After contacting them, was told the wheels were no longer manufactured and they dont have any control over it - even though it was their own in house wheel. So now I'm out a grand for their cheapie in house wheels, and it'll be a few thousand more if I need to switch to another wheel to have consistency between Jeeps and trailer. Pretty lame, definitely not happy with how they treated that situation. Unfortunately, several items I'm looking at I can only find on their site and not at any competitors.

I had a lousy experience with Q-tec a few months ago, after an incorrect part was shipped. Attempts to contact their customer service for an RMA and prepaid return label was painfully slow with unusual written response wording. My impression is that business aspect is being outsourced offshore. I won't buy anything from them going forward...

Which wheels? I’m wanting a set of their 15” Moab’s. I really hate to buy from them, but haven’t seen those anywhere else

You're justified being angry, but a few thousand for a matching set of wheels?? What kind of wheels are you looking at?

Well if you consider the cost of 1K for a incomplete set (of 7) from Q-tech that isn't complete, plus the cost of a totally different set (of 8) from another company that is more expensive right off the bat, the cost adds up pretty darn quick. I got these because I thought they looked good, old school, and were cheap. But if I had to choose any other option it would be a bead-grip from Method.

Edit - method bead grips are 250-350 depending on style/color. The q-tech's I bought were ~150 - so thats a pretty significant price difference. Also a significant difference in quality.

The ones I'm specifically referring to are the old school ones with the round holes, in gunmetal, 8" wide. What was funny is for a little while they had them in 10" wide still available. So now I only have 7 of them - not enough for a matching set on a trailer (2 plus spare = 3). So to get a matching set of 8 I'll have to go another route.

For the TJ, since I had to switch to a summer tire I opted for their Rubicon Extreme wheels in satin black - 16x8. But it looks like the only option they have at the moment now is in gunmetal, and the MOAB's in silver. I would HIGHLY suggest calling them and verifying they have X number that you want in stock before ordering, and after ordering calling again to confirm because I would not trust them to actually have what they say you have, and definitely would not trust them to fulfill a backorder item. I think they are phasing these out and discontinuing them under the guise that "we don't have control of if our suppliers discontinue an item" even though it's their in-house wheel. That is a very weird explanation to me and communication about it was absolute garbage. Past experiences with them have been excellent though.

Here are a couple pics of them. I'm honestly considering selling them and switching to something else.

Had a set of those on your black Jeep probably six years ago on my jk. They looked good and ran good. I’m thinking they are not keeping anything in stock and drop shipping everything on their website. That way they never have to keep or pay for inventory.

I dont think so. I had multiple conversations with them over the 11 months of 'backorder' for the ones on the LJ, and kept getting told "were still making them they are on the way". And then suddenly, got a return positive amount deposited in my bank with no notice or communications. It took me contacting Q-tech to get the details that they were discontinued by the 'manufacturer', not by Q-tech... So by not seeing the other rims on their website, to me indicates, they are discontinued all together and just getting rid of leftover stock. But that's just my experience.
