I want to get all the ignition off of the steering column and onto switches in the center of my dashboard. Anyone ever done this before?

Turning the key while holding the PHOOOOONE is too much work.
No doubt - I figured a PHOOOOOONNE was involved somewhere.

I did the same thing for the same reason....only difference was it cost me nothing I already had a push button switch to use and he wired it directly to the starter, mine is wired into the ignition switch so with the key off the push button switch doesn't do anything.
So that the next owner of it will hate him and his ancestors
