P0306 code

Several years ago I developed a random misfire code and tried replacing the sparkplugs and coil rail which had no affect.
Performed the CCC by both spraying into the throttle body and drawing the liquid in thru the brake booster vacuum line; both had no affect on the misfire, but the engine accelerated better.
During the replacement of the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and flywheel; the shop said they found the CPS had rust debris and the flywheel trigger blocks were rusty. After cleaning the CPS and installation of the new flywheel; the misfire was gone.

I would recommend removing the CPS and inspecting the surface of the CPS.

Awesome thanks man! I’ve been resetting it and tracking the mileage of how long it would be until it came on again and it was around 40-50 miles then this last time it came back on within 9 miles
