I've had 2 of these radiators from Orielly's spilt in the same place over a 2-1/2 year time period. The lifetime warranty is great but not worth it when your broke down an hour away from any parts store. Time to upgrade.

Yep, this is why I would always avoid parts from Autozone or any major auto part store unless it's a reputable brand you're buying.

A lifetime warranty is meaningless when you have to change it out every 2 years (or when you're nowhere near an AutoZone with one in stock).

Wow, that’s about the same as what my original MOPAR radiator did.
Your original Mopar split like that 2 times in 2 1/2 years?
You had a way different experience that I have. Mine has held up and cooled very well for 6 years in 115+ Arizona summer heat, which I would think is a lot worse than your area.
Now you are starting to slightly understand why recommending something from chain stores will yield dramatically different results. They simply do not give a shit what level of quality is delivered to them from any manufacturer.
You comfy enough with that crap to have me start using them here in SoCal which doesn't get quite as hot as where you are?

Sure, why not? i see no reason why what worked for me would not work for someone else.

Also wondering why you refer to a radiator that has cooled as well as the factory MOPAR radiator in 115+ heat for 6 years as crap?
Has your experience been different, that they did not cool well, or they failed on your vehicles?

I don't tolerate willful ignorance very well. My point was clear, you understood and now want to play dumb like you didn't. Or is there something fucking magical about the Murray crap that dies twice in 2.5 years that stops you from understanding that point?

Same exact experience with mine on an OBS Chevy. Bought one, it leaked from the beginning, swapped it and that one cracked after a week, and now the third is doing fine so far. From O'Reilly as well.

Wildly inconsistent QC, won't buy another. I have two cars now, I'll just wait for better replacement parts to ship. Any store brand quality is so inconsistent, it's safe enough to say what they stock is usually garbage. Whatever parts they have that are from a reputable brand are also almost always listed with an insane markup. I only use AutoZone to dump oil and "I need to get this car going so I can drive to work tomorrow", and now that I have two cars, that pretty much narrows it down to dumping used oil. I don't have time to replace parts 3 times, especially when they're Dorman parts marked up to more than an OE replacement on RockAuto...

I was going to get the Koyorad but I wouldn't get it until next week, so I went with a Denso it arrived today. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the Denso.

I would get a witch doctor to exercise the demons before you install it ! If not your whole Jeep might get possessed and could cause your wheels to fall off, PCM to go out, brakes to stop working and such. VOO DOO

So what brand do you recommend?

I just put in the a2102 koyorad as well. Hopefully it helps the recent temps sitting on the 0 of the 210 mark. Initial test drive has it down at the 2 with the foot down at 3000 rpm and 80 mph. So far so good

Temps here have been in the mid to upper 90's . The temp gauge sits at the 2 running down the road and the 0 when idling with the air conditioner on for extended periods of time . It seems to be working well .

Have used Denso radiators in many vehicles including my Jeep with zero issues with Denso radiators.

Mopar radiators (if you can find one) should be in Mopar spec. But that’s not saying much because Mopar isn’t synonymous with quality. Sucks but that’s the way it is.

well if my radiator goes out and I can't find a mopar I'll just park it until one is available.
