Highline fenders

So the time has come for new fenders, and I’m looking for aluminum Highline options. So far I’ve seen a lot of people recommend Motobilt and GenRight, but I see Savvy has an option as well. I haven’t seen much about them and I’m wondering if they might be a better route to take.

Savvy’s are great looking and very open. I would only do aluminum too which all options you listed have. My concern with the savvy is the inner fender isn’t easy to mount stuff on.
Genrights are the gold standard
Motobilts are similar to the old poison spyder aluminum fenders that were discontinued for a design problem making them crack. So far I havnt heard of this issue in the Motobilts but it was my concern with them especially since they’re now the same or more money than genrights.
@Fluxor or fluxoffroad.com is now designing some which I am super interested in as he is trying to make a flared version but the flare is removable for off-roading. They’re in the design phase still so not sure how soon you’re looking to get them.

Yeah I was thinking the savvy ones might be a little bit tricky mounting things, I wish I could wait for the flux ones. But the fun police gave me 30 days to get fenders or I get a ticket haha

I ended up going Motobilt. They are 15% off today on their site, but be sure to cross shop Northridge who has 5% and free shipping, may flip who's better.

Another option you can look at is Nemesis. I think Crawltek's were only steel.

I originally ordered Savvy through Extreme Terrain, but after the delivery date came and went, they still had no idea when they'd show up.

Is that with the firewall mounts? Looks like they aren't included in the GR fenders, but are with the MBs.

EDIT: Checked and with 5% off mine MB 0" and inners were $1,025+tax shipped from NR.

You’re right I wasn’t since I already have the genright battery tray. Still shy of 2k for front and rear flares version on either place ~200 bucks isn’t going to be the deciding factor on one or the other.

The hardest thing about HiLines is figuring out where to relocate everything. It’s 100 projects in 1 project. Everything takes time if you don’t cut corners. It’s a puzzle. You make things, try to come up with solutions, and spend way more money than you ever thought.

You’re right I wasn’t since I already have the genright battery tray. Still shy of 2k for front and rear flares version on either place ~200 bucks isn’t going to be the deciding factor on one or the other.

Ya I havnt heard great things about it but hadn’t given me an issue besides having to modify it right away to fit the battery they advertised it with. I’m really hoping flux can deliver bc my stock highlined fenders are completely split inner from outer.

Pay close attention to the inner fenders where you will need to reattach everything that was on the old inner fenders. Savvy appears to be making the same massive mistake that Poison Spyder did by making their accessory shelf at the same height as the new hood line.

My Crawltechs left a surprising amount of space to cram everything back into place. Enough that there is no reason the PDC can't sit flat after all the mounts the need to be fabricated.

Can you link me to where you describe your intake? That setup might fit below my Coilover cross over tube. You draw from headlight area?

You wouldn't trust a plastic bracket for any of it? Some of the stuff is not very heavy right

Heat and a lot of vibration makes me not trust 3D prints in this environment. Though, I am admittedly not familiar with what is achievable for reliability these days.

I've seen some people are 3d printing things like intake tubes and stuff now. I don't know what filaments they're using, but it seems like there are some that survive engine bays nowadays.
