I’m dying to get genright aluminum fenders with a matching rear flare set. I don’t have corner armor but I have sliders so mounting them in the standard spot would have the top tilted inward till corner armor is mounted, which would be fine if that’s the best route to take.
I noticed people who raise the flare up past the stock position to get it closer to the matching highline front seem to reverse mount them so the passanger side is now on the driver side which makes the front section of the flare to be shorter than the rear. This solves the issue of mounting it over the sliders since the flare on the front side is short enough to not touch the sliders.
Has anyone done this? Is there any reason not to do it that way?

From what I can tell is the angle on both sides are the same and only the length is the difference between the two sides so I’m temped to mount them reverse then just flip them around when I get corner armor and I would use the existing top holes to mount but would have to make new bottom holes for the difference in length.
