I find it more than a bit odd that these 3 liked your reply.PS go Alum not matter what the steel ones are HEAVEY
Crawltechs are very close to factory despite the outers being steel. There isn't much to them. They are likely a bit less than factory after you deduct the weight of the factory fender mounts.

Including the fender brace and battery tray?Matt had Crawlteks at ~21lbs each total
Including the fender brace and battery tray?
Just a reminder that not all hi-lines are cut the same, and may impact rocker selection.
...
One should assume that any and all non-factory fenders will require the slider to trimmed to fit.

The armor, sure. The "Billy Rocker" slider section is the issue on these. Aluminium, so really not a simple chop and cap (at least with my capabilities)
The Billy Rockers have a lot of issues![]()
In TN, we call those “Billy-Bob” Rockers.
As in fat, ineffective, and always in the way of getting things done?

That means they are as confused as you are or as limited in experience. Some steel fenders are heavy. Crawltec fenders are not heavy at all. I doubt they weigh much more if any than the stock ones do.
Maybe you read more into my quote,I am not confused at all.
I was comparing Genright Alum to their steel ones. According to Genright there front Alum fenders w/4 flare weigh 9.3 lbs and there steel ones weigh 21.75 lbs that's a HEAVY difference. And according to Google
20-22 lbs compared to 9.3 lbs is a big difference to me. I didn't go out and search every brand of replacement fenders on the market only Genright's steel to Alum.
- Steel Stock Fenders: Expect roughly 18 lbs for a base model YJ replacement, with TJ equivalents likely in the 20-22 lb range, similar to the heavy steel counterparts for other models.

You can cherry pick all you like to support your flawed position, doesn't change the fact that the steel Crawltec fenders don't weigh very much.

I didn't cherry pick anything I just stated facts about Genrights that I run. You are the one that went searching to prove me wrong boosting your ego
It sure looks like Crawltec fenders must use a lot of HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY Packing materials as there shipping weight is 80l bs and according to the web they weigh 21lbs each that a LOT MORE than my 9.3 lbs for Genrights
