That's completely valid but at the same time if she can't do this job then what jobs can she do??

Would chalk it up to lack of appetite for the the work, would rather fill their workshop up with quick and easier parts to source from their usual suppliers at this time of year, they could probably get golf or mini parts shipped in the same day wholesale price but may need to go outside their usual suppliers, try breakers and wait a couple days for TJ bits; pretty sure if he showed up with all the parts himself, half of mechanics he tried would have said they could do the work.

It's easiest just to use rockauto for most things. They have a choice of brands (and price points) and various shipping options too. If you need things in a hurry you can get things from rockauto faster than from the UK sometimes. Cheaper most of the time too if you can wait a week or so for cheaper shipping.

The steering linkage could be getting worn on all the joints so it might not be a bad idea to replace the lot with a kit from jeep-chrysler on ebay for £220.

Not sure how they found worn ball joints on the rear stabiliser bar linkage as it's bushed in the rear.

If the leak at the rear drum cylinder they are cheap enough . If it's the axle seal you should have a Dana 44 rear so would need set 10 bearings and seal. the retainer plates can be re-used. The old retainer and bearing have to be cut off and the new ones pressed on. There are plenty of guides and videos online showing how.

This is a screen shot of a few bits from rockauto. It only gave one shipping option this time but all in would be less than £150 and delivered by the 19th. VAT included. You may not need wheel cylinders or two sets of wheel bearings but it gives you an idea of prices for comparison. There were several more brands available of each item. I picked items all shipped from the same location. I forgot to select a rear axle seal but that wouldn't add much.

Doing a search for Rockauto 5% will get you a valid code for a discount easily enough reducing the price a bit more too.
