Ok i put my can of refrigerant with a gauge on the low side. Compressor is cycling on off like every 2-3 seconds, the gauge is saying high presure in the system. 1 Question: with high pressure scenarios is it the switch not functioning?
2 Question: the pressure switches when vehicles is off what state are the switches in? Normally closed or open?Any help appreciated
3 Question: is there a schrader valve behind the switches so I can change out without evacuation?

What are you seeing on the LP gage as the system is cycling.

Go to the resource section and download the Service manual, lots of a/c info there.

yes there is a schrader valve so you can replace the pressure switches without dumping the system. you can disconnect the wire to the low pressure switch and put a jumper wire between the 2 wires and check if it's bad.
