HELP!!! I have a compressor that stops blowing cold air early. It also won't turn off completely as every position on the dash won't turn off the compressor. This jeep has been in a very good shop but they can't figure out the problem either. The pressure switches have been replaced, compressor replaced, tube verified not clogged, new computer, no leaks found, and refrigerant level verified. They have hooked up a light to help determine when the compressor was on and off and that is when we discovered there is power in every position on the dash except off. Wire diagram obtained online does not make sense as we were looking at bypassing the current wiring in thinking there might be a short somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Given all the components you've replaced and the troubleshooting steps already taken, it seems like you might be dealing with an electrical issue rather than a mechanical one.

Here are a few suggestions that might help:

Check the Climate Control Module: Since you're getting power in every dash position, there could be an issue with the climate control module itself. If it's malfunctioning, it might not be correctly sending signals to turn the compressor off.

Inspect Wiring and Connectors: Look for any damaged wires or corroded connectors in the A/C system's wiring harness. Sometimes, a short or poor connection can cause strange behavior in the system.

A/C Relay: Make sure to check the A/C relay. If it's stuck in a closed position, it could keep the compressor running regardless of the dashboard controls. Try swapping it with a relay of the same type from another circuit just to see if that makes a difference.

Ground Connections: Ensure that all ground connections related to the A/C system are secure and free from corrosion. A poor ground can lead to erratic behavior.

If you haven't yet, download a factory service manual for your TJ. It has detailed troubleshooting procedures that can be helpful for solving electrical issues.
