4" lift (more about AA SYE kit & driveshaft)

I know its been done to death, but im looking to lift my TJ 4 inches with no body lift, all suspension lift. im looking at the Zone 4" kit with the Advance Adapter SYE kit that includes the driveshaft. im not looking to upgrade tire size because then id have to regear and all that. so my questions are; has anyone been running the AA SYE kit with the driveshaft? is a 31x10.50r15 tire big enough for a 4"? if the AA combo kit wont work what SYE + driveshaft combo could I try, keeping low-ish cost in mind? ive seen some pictures and i like the look. im currently running a 2" budget booster, 31s, and stock everything else, would also like to say my intentions for the jeep are mostly on road performance with offroad as secondary, but i do want good offroad performance (another reason for keeping the 31s) (also picking up some white cragar nomads so offset will match photo as well)

What's driving you to the 4" lift? If you are looking for on road performance, basically everything would be worse than a shorter lift. Higher CoG, steeper short arm angles.

If you are stuck on a 4" lift, look at the Zone combo lift, it gives you a total of 4.5" and comes with everything you need. And you don't have to do the SYE.

since im repairing the frame and also replacing the coils and shocks, i would need to remove the rear control arms anyways and my logic is do the work while its already apart. would improve the look too imo. the rides pretty rough with the rough country shocks and coil pucks as it is so im only really concerned with keeping it driveable not as much comfort

I wasn't comparing to current, but rather a shorter lift still replacing the respective components. I'm sure he'll get some benefit from new arm bushings, shocks, etc.

In general the answer to "i want the jeep to ride good on road" is not "lift it as high as you can!"

We do know how to lift a jeep a good amount and also have it behave better than stock

Well if you're already repairing the frame and you want to improve handling then why not outboard your rear shocks and upgrade to tuned Fox 2.0s.

There is no time or cost savings if he fixes the frame first and does the shock work later.
