Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator
Going to drop the radiator 1.25" for now, with the Savvy arms and being an LJ I don't think I'll need to do the MML (Motor Mount Lift) but I still might do a SYE and drive shaft just because
I did my BL without a MML for awhile. We loosen the shroud during the BL, then trim the shroud so it will clear the radiator hose when we raise it to avoid shroud interference with the fan. Not a problem.

it will be interesting to see if you have vibes. At 3” and an LJ, you may be fine.

Tires arrived. 😎

Tread Pattern.

Top: Maxxis Razr MT Bottom: Cooper STT Pro

note they the Maxxis is a true M/T vs the Cooper, which is an A/T - M/T hybrid. The space between the lugs in the center of the pattern on the Maxxis is wider than the Cooper, while the Cooper has wide spaces between the lugs on the inside and outside, the pattern tightens on the center of the tread. I should get them mounted next week.

Is this gunna be a new thing? No spare? If yes what made you decide to run with out one?
New thing. I’m tired of scraping the tire coming out of deep ravines, I don’t like the weight back there, I haven’t had a flat in 28,000 miles, and the one I had was on road and could’ve been plugged if I had a kit with me. I know the trails here now and not worried about it. It looks better. IDK, watcha think?

I've always gone back and forth on it. Since I have beadlocks I figured I was good because I could plug it or patch it. I even carried a inner tube for good measure if it was really bad. Then instead of ripping a sidewall or something like I thought would happen I broke the wheel.

As long as you have a good plug kit and OBA or a good compressor go for it.

Will you have one at your camper?

Your Savvy armor looks great!
I totally agree, it's very nice to lose all that weight off the ass end, and gain visibility.

Edit: nice MTB in the garage as well.

Thanks! Yours looks really good too. The spare on the ass end is a PITA, and I drive so little today, it’s not worth it anymore. I might rig something up like you did in your tub for long trips, which will be rare.

That MTB is one of my sons, the other two are hidden by the Jeep!

Edit: I love your wheels. Always have

Cool man, thanks. I have had my eye on this Commencal bike for over a year, but everytime I get some $$$, i put it into the Jeep. One of these days, I'll take the leap and do it. 🍻
