What about the axle swap, gears, and lockers?! I thought those were pretty good! Even the MCE’s I think will really work out for my wheelin’ situation. One of the smartest decisions you’ve made.
Thanks! This should be interesting. It took me a long time to succumb and buy this thing.Oh baby, freshy on deck! No more crawling under the jeep or shimmying it to get the disconnects back in place.
I’d put lockers up there. But now all you’ll have to do is air down and go wheeling then air up to go home. What about the axle swap, gears, and lockers?! I thought those were pretty good! Even the MCE’s I think will really work out for my wheelin’ situation.![]()
Now go test it. Report back.Finished the AntiRock install. To start I adjusted to 13.8* on one side. The other side is 11.8*. They are on the same splines, so I could not figure out the reason for the difference. I put it it in the 3rd hole (farthest from the bumper).

thanks for the assurance that I didn’t get a bad rod with mis-rolled splines! I’ll take it out tomorrow and see what differences I observe. I expect some differences in body roll. It feels fine on the street. Just like I have a sway bar. It's true what they say.
Nice upgrade @JMT. Glad you finally figured it out
FWIW, my links were different lengths too. I don't think they cut the splines in any relationship with each other, rotationally.

Man, I was sitting there at 3pm saying, should I go out, should I go out? @voodooridr had just come over to buy the MC rear shock bracket extensions and visit. Nice guy BTW. I look forward to wheelin with him a bit. He just moved here and had to get back to unpacking boxes. I hate moving. So, I sat and thought and checked my stocks, again, and finally just took a shower and said, tomorrow.
I’ve got a few things to get straight tomorrow, especially the SWR on my new antenna.
More good news today, I changed out the bulbs in my new headlights with some I had from the previous set that were Philips 120% or something like that. Definitely brighter. I’m very happy with the light situation up front, especially now. They’re really bright like they were before. Stock TJ lights really suck!
I actually really love the subtleness of these headlights. I was able to hide the turn signal in the headlight and no one would ever know just looking at the Jeep. I think it is an understated elegant mod, and I have you to thank for the idea and link. I don’t think most who read this thread picked up on what has happened. That is good to hear. I'm glad those headlights are working out good. I'm really thinking I need to do the same to mine.
We’re going to build it up! You’ve got a good plan with the 3”+1.25”. Just let me know when you want to do it. Do you also plan a MMl, or do you already have one?It was great meeting you too, defiantly looking forward to seeing some of the "local" trails even though my little yellow LJ is probably completely un prepared

Going to drop the radiator 1.25" for now, with the Savvy arms and being an LJ I don't think I'll need to do the MML but I still might do a SYE and drive shaft just becauseWe’re going to build it up!
