OK you need to start planning a time in July to come over and do some trails in the Naches area. Like I said later in the month is going to be better after the Trail Jamboree is over.
Maybe we can get other forum members to join us.
During the week or on a weekend. Plan for as many days as you want...I'm retired.

Will do brother! Good plan. Let me sort through some dates and start narrowing it down!

We can post it up in Regional area once you have some ideas for dates.
I've got a run in Montana with a veterans group in August. Not sure of the dates right now. (17-23 Aug)

I’ve been trying to figure out a steering issue for months. I’ve done about 20 steering tests. I was getting so much road feedback and it was driving me crazy. I replaced the ball joints and the drag link tie rod end. I thought maybe I was just over-sensitive to road feedback, but I just couldn’t stand it any longer, so I decided to try a Fox steering damper. I’ve read that they have caused steering to push to the left, but I’ve also read some good feedback from @kmas0n and @jjvw, so I decided to give it a shot. My wheels and tires do weigh 104lbs, so they are some big mama jammas. When I removed the Rubicon Express steering stabilizer I put 1 finger on the stabilizer and pressed it all the way in with practically no effort. Pull out and push in was nothing. It was completely trashed. It also had some nice dents on it from crashing it on rocks. It was the very first thing I ever put on my Jeep in 2017, and I’ve basically had no steering damper for a while now. I put the Fox damper on and it’s night and day difference. Almost drives like a normal car. Super happy because I’m super picky. ###Yes, I cut that bolt head off to clearance the body of the steering damper.

This should make you doubt everyone who says a steering damper isn't necessary or that a heavy one might be nice.

The only criticisms I can offer of the Fox damper are that it is expensive, and that it is gas charged and might impart steering input to the left. Though, I never noticed it on mine.

I have Josh's old one and agree it's a noticeable improvement until you and I eventually get hydro!

Awesome, I loved mine. After the TJ went under the knife my fox ss ended up on my JL, where its still performing excellent.

I still remember when you first joined the forum you posted a thread on the Fox SS that essentially "debunked" the forum echo chamber *coughjerrycough* on anything other than stock SS being a waste, and someone bitched you out for being the "new guy" and acting like a know it all. I remember sitting there thinking "he's doing outboards, but ok." :D

Monroe or bust 🤣

It is such a noticeable improvement. The echo chamber “all you need is a Monroe and some paint” is total bull. I’m glad the aforementioned guys debunked the Jerrymyth.

Drove some more today and it’s just absolutely better in ways I hadn’t imagined. Road feedback is anlmost non-existent and steering is weightier and more controllable.

Now toss it and go hydro

Everything works on my Jeep right now. I have reached Jeep Nirvana. My passenger reverse light works! My tailgate license plate light works! All my speakers work! I don’t have any codes! My steering is good! Seat heaters work! Seat belts retract! Steering wheel is centered!! I don’t have a broken windshield! My doors open and shut normally! It’s crazy!!! 😳
