They do work with my OEM carpet quite well; i just rarely have it in lol. Velcro will work, but it wont prevent my foot from catching the upper lip and it rolling over, which is irritatingly nipp8ng at my OCD. So, ive intentionally not used velcro trying to force myself into another option. So far, though, my laziness has proved to be strongest.

We have that same rolling lip problem with the set in our Yukon. It is very annoying. I was told that WeatherTech is coming out with a new floor liner that is more supple. Maybe that aspect will improve, but who wants to spend more money on them? Not me. Would a heat gun help form the lip so yours folds back?

I'm glad to see I'm not alone here. I get stuff with the intention of installing it, then don't. Two or three years later I get around to it, if I can find the parts I bought!

If I had it to do all over, I think I would have ordered my seats with heaters installed.

Don’t think that was an option.

It’s a really easy install if you have seat covers. You don’t even have to remove the seats, just the center console. But I do think it’s easier if you remove the seats.

LOL definitely not on the originals but when I ordered the MasterCraft Baja RS you can doll them up with heaters, lumbar support, map pockets, and hydration packs. It would have been $300 more for both seats with heaters.

Same here. I wish I'd just spent that extra money and gotten the seat heaters and map pockets. I hang my CamelBack that I got in Iraq off the back of my seat.

Some mods are difficult for me to get motivated to install. They all have to do with the interior. This time I was motivated because it's freezing here and my wife loves seat heaters and I only had a two week window to get all this done and because you said they would be good for my back.

10A per seat, so 20A total for driver and passenger side. That powers a pad for both the lower seat and the upper lumbar

That’s not too bad. Today I’m wiring up an amp that draws 40 amps (hey, that was funny) with 8 gauge wire. Damn that stuff is thick.

All this talk about bun warmers has made me wish I could get a heated steering wheel in my Jeep. That, next to the backup camera, is one of my favorite features in my truck. I never thought I'd like it as much as I do!

My jeep has heated seats, steering wheel, and a back up camera. Oh wait, wrong jeep, lol!

It’s the little things. Crawled under today to remove and rebuild the last MC control arm. In the process moved the parking brake cable back on top of the upper arm. It can run in between the arms, but I wanted it back on top. Noticed the rear sway bar bushings are shot, so I’m replacing those.

I found this product called Liquid Electrical Tape. Pretty cool stuff. You need 3-4 coats, but it’s waterproof. I used it on the wires for my locker that I cut and had to fix after the months long debacle trying to solve the klunk. This stuff is flammable, but I think after it cures and off-gas’s it will be fine . Operating temp is -37-210F.

Finally got a backup Winch Remote. They were out of stock for about a year. I have dash controls but want to be able to do final spooling from the front of the Jeep. Glad it finally came in. This is turning out to be a ‘fix all the little things’ year. It will be nice after 5 years of wheelin to get everything refreshed.

Yep I like the stuff for some of those hard to get at repairs.

Knowing you I think you can figure out a heated steering wheel. In the meantime, turn on the seat heaters and sit on your hands. One at a time preferably!

Stuff is a lifesaver when you can not use heat shrink.
