YES Trevor it's most likely AI.... But people used to put almost this many shocks on rigs in the 80's....
Even the OEMs. Remember the 80s 1/2 ton Fords with twin traction beam front axles and dual front shocks?
If dampener is good, what if it had double the dampening?
Hell what if you just had so much dampening it couldn't move!! Now there's a move
TTB Fords needed them ...
But back then if you wanted to go fast off road they were the go to in factory suspension.
