Yeah, I'm a dumb ass, 35s
But is it a true 35?

Well this turned into a bunch of purse swinging
Back on topic , I emailed nemesis and they wanted to talk on the phone about it the guy was very helpful
To run there non hi-line fenders
-No stock air intake after market or custom only with the inner fenders
_ special battery only The battery tray is integrated into the inner fenders
Both of those are a no go for me
This may be the reason not many people are using them , might as well go hi line with those requirements

One of the many relevant details you could have picked up in all of this is the existence of the little cutout on the factory outer fender lip. One of the knowledgeable people brought it up early on.
Jeep put it there to create a bit of extra room for the tire during articulation.

Many aftermarket non-highline fenders do not have this cutout, which is a quick way to know that it has less clearance than factory. This one, for example, does not have the cutout.

No I didn’t ask about those fenders , but they look like they just bolt to the fenders that I was looking at so it would have the same inner fender design
So same issue with the air intake and battery View attachment 584424
Negative the product is the fender not the flare, it achieve the same look as the replacement but leaves the inner, that at least is my understanding of the product.

Are there benefits running non highline fenders on a tj with 35s?

Are there benefits running non highline fenders on a tj with 35s? Pretty sure I know the answer but I like the flat fender look ,
It just does not look like there would be any clearance gains over stock fenders , looking at genright, and nemesis aluminum front fenders
No opinion but I am going to feed the fire.
This thread is too entertaining to not.

Not sure what side you're on, but in this picture the tire looks to be lower than the hood.
The MC fender was not necessary for clearance.
All these pics are just concerned with up. They mean nothing.
Don’t forget that you need more room in the back of the front wheel well too. So when you cycle the suspension you have to put a tire on and turn the tire at max compression and see if it makes contact back.
And whoever took a pic of a tape measure showing the distance between the tire and the fender. That doesn’t tell us anythingzzzzz.
