How I imagine my drive home will be:

How it’s likely to really be:
No, it’s not. Here in the North Central/Eastern part of the state triple digits isn’t unusual, but this heat wave is unprecedented. I actually feel sorry for the poor bastages west if the mountains.Yeah I heard that Washington was having a heat wave....
117 * is not common for the Pacific NW.
Eastern Washington, yes. Western? Haven’t lived there in a number of years, and it wasn’t common practice then. Probably still isn’t.Haven't spent a lot of time in the PNW, do homes typically have central A/C? My wife's fam is in upstate NY & they had temps over 100 a couple years back which is far from the norm. No one up there has A/C in their homes for the most part so it was a tough ride.
8%??? You must be miserable!I am dying. We have 8% humidity here in the Phoenix area.
Because Portland is actually hell.Just spoke to my sister who lives up there, 115 in Portland. That is wild!
Whelp. I don’t have AC, nor do I want it. I daily drive mine and I’m pretty sure I’m not full of it. We’ll have to agree to disagree about AC.Because Portland is actually hell. And anyone who says they dont need AC in a TJ ever, is full of it. Unless maybe it's a 'fun' or casual use Jeep.
Yeah man, doors come off in the spring, go back on in the fall. I have AC, I turn it on occasionally at stoplights just to make sure it still works.Whelp. I don’t have AC, nor do I want it. I daily drive mine and I’m pretty sure I’m not full of it. We’ll have to agree to disagree about AC.
I’m onboard with the Portland thing.
You guys complaining about temperatures in the 90s; that is a spring day by comparison to Furnace Creek.I am dying. We have 8% humidity here in the Phoenix area.
Well yeah, but the 20 some-odd people that live there full time chose to and it’s probably not much of a surprise to them. You guys complaining about temperatures in the 90s; that is a spring day by comparison to Furnace Creek.
Their weather today was 120* with 6% RH with a mild breeze....![]()
