The distance from the front edge of the crossmember to the front of the savvy skid. It’s rubbing most of the way up the skid, then it gets bad where the yellow circle is. Thanks!

How about this? 6.25

Personally the mid arm doesn’t work for me, the butt crack would drive me insane...I’m sure there are others that feel that way.🤔

You can always raise the rear frame section to get rid of the butt crack like @jjvw

Hmmm....that’s interesting. That helps. Great tool for the job. Thanks for climbing under your rig at this hour. I will do the same tomorrow and see what kind of extra clearance that might provide. Uses the stock mounting holes

That would shorten the lowers, then I would shorten the uppers till I got the pinion back right and maybe. It’s a good thought. I hate to cut the arms, but I guess it doesn’t really matter as long as there are enough threads inside the arm for threading

No problem. Yes, it uses the stock holes.

Exactly. You just cut the sleeve however much you think you might need. It will only take away from maximum length but you can still make them longer in the future if you have to.

Ok, my game plan is to go ahead with the JKS bushing and see how much more clearance I can get with the different end. I’ll call JKS tomorrow To make sure I get the right one.

If that doesn’t clear the crossmember, then I‘m going to cut the lowers. I’ll start with 1 cm and go from there. Great ideas guys

Now that I think of it, if my lowers go shorter, that’s going to shorten the space for my driveshaft and move my wheel even more forward in the wheel well. 🙄

How long are MC DA arms fully shortened? Vs Savvy DA arms? I know savvy can go shorter than stock. If it were me I’d bend the gas tank skid metal back to clear the diff and trim the crossmember. Just like Dave does.

I’m willing to do this. It was my first thought. How much can I trim/cut off the crossmember? I really need to take off that whole passengers side corner. If I push the gas tank skid back, what will I screw the two bolts into that hold up the gas tank skid? Nutserts?
