Since you have a LJ and a Rubicon, which includes a double cardan shaft, you could probably get away with loosing the transfer case drop. If your angles are off adjustable control arms would sort it out. Since you live in Sac I would look at the double adjustable MC arms.
 
Your not far from Metal Cloak, so you may need to put some shiny under there. Shocks will be your biggest improvement once you sort out the steering stuff. Lot of us are running the Rancho RS5000X shocks and are happy with them, myself included. I'd imagine MC's Rocksports may be another option. Or, go full retard with some Fox remote resi's.

I’ve heard the rock sports are a bit stiff, never run them myself though

Savvy parts arrived seem to be of good quality. No instructions with anything, is that typical of Savvy?

Body lift and Motor Mount lift should not be a big deal I have never done them before but seems easy enough.

Would be nice to have some basic tips and torque specs on hand but I will dig them up on someone’s thread or YouTube I am sure.

Cable shifter looks more complicated. Having a hard time picturing where everything goes. Maybe it will be clearer once I get under there. I guess I can go read Novak’s instructions I imagine it’s similar.

It's useful information to have for sure. If you don't install those body lifts correctly, a simple 1 hour job can turn into a nightmare trying to get the body aligned with the frame!

oh cool! I have been reading a bunch in the how-to section I must have missed it. It's amazing all the information on this forum.

No problem at all, those are good instructional videos for sure.

I'm happy most of the information is in one place. I tried to move the most important threads to the how-to and TJ resources sub-forums.
 
Busy weekend.

Installed new 315/75r17 C KO2’s on 17” JK wheels with 1.25” Spidertraxs Spacers. Running 25lbs in them right now. I had a minor case of death wobble before changing the tires at 50mph feels great now. Ride is a good improvement over the worn out 33” D rated BFG mud terrains.

Installed 1.25” savvy body lift. Install went really good, very happy with the product.

Also installed the 1” savvy motor mount lift after doing that did not have to make any modifications to the fan shroud that only doing the body lift would have required.

Installed the savvy cable shifter which allowed me to remove the previous owners Transfer case drop. I was able to figure it out without instructions, I posted the best photo I could get below to hopefully help anyone who does this in the future since I had a hard time finding a nice complete zoomed out view that would have helped me.

No vibrations or problems as of now everything seem to be working great.

Also installed black headlight trim to see if I like it or the chrome better. I go back and fourth as of right now.

Next step is to install new Exogate tire carrier, having a hard time deciding on a rear bumper to go with it. More research is needed.

Looks fantastic! That's such a nice, uncommon color to see on an Unlimited Rubicon.

And as usual, the factory Moab wheels are hard to beat.

The Savvy shifter cable was an easy install without instructions for me too. I just had to spend some time adjusting it properly so that the transfer case shifted properly throughout its entire range.

Yeah it seems to be adjusted good. It’s hard to tell if the changes one way or the other improved it. I just went through and checked with the tires off the ground and made sure 4 lo felt really good because that’s usually the hardest to get into. I did feel like the top cable has a bit of a sharp turn towards the shifter but it did not seem to effect function.

The issue I found is that the transfer case never really wants to play nicely (shifting it I mean) unless you have the vehicle running. Even then, you often need to put the transmission in neutral and roll the vehicle forward or backwards just ever so slightly in order to get the transfer case to slide into gear.

That makes adjusting the cable a process, but I finally figured it out.
