Hey all! I am new and this is my first post so please forgive me.
Looking for some helpful information on an issue i am having
First let me lay out what is done
2004 TJ X
4.0L 5 speed (NV3550)
2.5 suspension lift
adjustable drag links
1 inch transfer case drop (had whining after the lift was told do the drop and the noise went away)

Back story, I got the jeep a couple months ago and because it was sitting, things started leaking after i started driving it as a daily. The person before me had 2 inch spacers in the front with 33x12.50s i removed the spacers and replaced it with a proper 2.5 suspension lift all for corners. I also had to install adjustable drag links because my axle were not centered anymore. I am now running 31x10.50s on it.

I currently have been having issues with my shifter. I had to do some transmission work on the jeep so i pulled out the trans and replaced some things. One of the things I had to replace was the tower shifter. The one that was installed was the round straight shaft. All I can find new was the round shaft with the "S" shaped bend, being i was limited on selection to match the shift handle, I installed that one. had to cut back the body a little so i can get it in 2nd, 4th, and Rev. the issue I am currently facing is now is the trim console is not allowing me to get it into 2nd 4th and Rev. Removed that temp, was seeing if I install a yoke slip and adjustable lower control arms along with bringing the transfer case back up to the frame (remove 1inch spacers) or is there something else I can do beside not run the center console or hack that apart or go down some rabbit hole and do some aftermarket shifter. Looking a proper fix if anyone else can point me in the right direction. link to another thread or a fix they did.

Not looking to get into rock crawling or aggressive trails with this. mostly i am wanting to restore it with a slight mod to enjoy it as a daily and weekend light trails for my son.

thanks again!

Nevermind, I found out he has thicker isolators in the rear. I am swapping them with stock ones and everything will be fixed!
