Got around to installing the @Fluxor hinges and tire carrier. These parts are a work of art and easy to install, beyond getting the factory torx bolts removed. In my case they had already been removed, when installing the MORryde hinge kit.
In terms of the fluxor hinges, the only issue I ran into was clearing the BMB taillights. To make it work, the top bolt was flipped, then about 1/8" was ground off a corner of the bolt head, on the taillight side. After that, it was a straightforward install.
For the tire carrier, it fit together perfectly, and I really like the flexibility to adjust the spare tire in and out. I drilled a 1/4 hole in the tire mounting plate to allow the installation of one of these lights, which is used as a 3rd brake light.

I'll need to make a bracket to install my backup camera, which will require a little creative thinking to get it in a good location.
Bottom line on the hinge kit, it worked fantastic. With a 107 lb spare on the back, my single biggest concern was whether or not the tailgate would drop when I opened it, which it did with the MORryde hinge kit.
I'm happy to report that @Fluxor didn't disappoint and there was zero drop when opening the back. The only advice I'd give for the install, if you have a heavy spare, is to have someone available to help lift it. In my case, the spare tire was off/on at least 8 - 10 times while test fitting and adjusting everything. Now that everything is where it needs to be, I'll apply blue thread locker to all the carrier bolts. For the 3 bolts that hold the spare on, I'll use red thread locker.
