I have one in my '05. The sub took a crap and I don't use the radio anymore.

Still got mine in my '06 TJ and it works great, though I mostly just use the aux input for my phone these days.
I'd like to find out myself. I would like to use phone for music through the existing speakers, without having to install a Bluetooth radio.
I purchased one along with an aux input setup and swapped it in about a year ago. It works well for what it is, lets me play pandora or sirius through the apps, and is better than listening to the blabbering local radio morons.
That's my biggest issue these days. I'm so tired of listening to over the air radio. Even Sirius erks me sometimes when the idiot air jockey wants to spew crap out of their pie hole. All I want is music.
I bought one of these and it works great, I was just hoping there was a hidden plug in.
I use one of these in one of my cars. If you're used to FM radio anyways, it sure beats ads and DJs and not choosing what you're listening to... But the quality transmitted over FM can only be so good. It also is annoying on further drives when you drive into an area that is broadcasting on the station you use
I can listen to Spotify, or steam a local station, or listen to CD's.
My question is, does it use the antenna, or go straight through to the radio.
It transmits onto FM band and then you tune your radio into the station the device is set at
So all I'll need to do is unplug my OEM sub. The sub is blown and really don't need it.
Thanks John. I was watching a YouTube on how to remove the subwoofer. It's blown out and I really don't think I want to replace it.
Decisions, Decisions. I'm thinking if I go through the process of unplugging it, I might as well just replace it.
The subwoofer on Quadratec is $95+ shipping and gets good reviews.
