Today I installed new antenna and speakers. The day went as follows:
- new antenna installed no problem
- check to see if working and radio volume won’t go up from 0. (Noticed same issue last week when just fiddling around with radio in traffic)
- disconnect and reconnected battery.
- radio volume then worked and the stock speakers produced noise.
- went on to installing new speakers. Put first speaker in at front and disconnected the back two… left the driver side speaker in.
-went to check if the new speaker and stock speaker (drivers side) produced noise… which they didn’t, the volume would go up from 0 but with no noise. Checked with a CD and still no noise. Check all related fuses and none had blown.
Additionally I need to crimp the back speaker wires to new speakers. Does anyone know which one is negative and positive? (Photo attached)
Any advice?
