People think this, but it's the best of both worlds! Especially when you have to drag a broken down Jeep off the trail!
Iv seen a few I like and would buy one but I need more bed space. I am surprised it can handle that weight.
It hauls my Jeep wherever I want to go. When I bought it, it was advertised as having a 7K towing capacity. That's not much compared to the full sized trucks but it works for me.

It's about use case. My truck can also tow broken jeeps back from the trail head:
Poked a stick in the trans pan gasket
But it meant someone had to drive my jeep back lol. The poor guy is never gonna drive a TJ again
Total weight with that trailer and a jeep is around 7-8k, it can do I-75 with ease.
I'm also able to tow north of 12k lbs. Easy to have one truck that can do everything I ask of it.
