Brandon's Arles Blue TJ

Sometimes you're reminded that you married the right person.

Finally had a chance for my wife to go hit Tahuya with us for a couple hours and she absolutely loved it. Being a holiday weekend, it was pretty busy. So we stopped to watch a couple built rigs on 40s go up one of the big climbs. Instead of thinking they were crazy or being scared by it, she just said "well obviously you're going to need to be able to do these trails one day, because that's cool!" So it sounds like I have her blessing to one day make my way over to the "tons and 40s" club?! (I don't even have my 35" build done yet lol) Not at all how I expected the day to go!

Sorry fellas, she's taken!

This was the Wheelers for the Wounded event I'd helped organize for WA.

I was driving my ex-wife's Liberty so I didn't get to have much fun.

Back when I still had two legs... But there's that cigar... And had to take my boot off due to the pain.

Yes definitely lucky!

It's definitely a fun place to play around on some mild trails with a few more hardcore obstacles. It's nice to have so close.

Met a guy with a badass LJ on mid arm and 40s back at the parking lot. Didn't recognize it as a rig from here.

Well once I'm on the road again we'll have to see if we can figure out a day to go play.

Didn't realize my wife had got a picture of the knucklehead in the $50k Rzr stuck on a stump going downhill on Sasquatch. We rolled up and he wasn't going anywhere soon. They had another SxS up top with like a 4000lb winch, but that's a 2500lb machine wedged between a rock and a stump facing downhill. I offered to get him free and got him hooked up. Just pulled him enough to get off the stump and then let him trash his own rig the rest of the way down.

So this gives an idea of how busy I've been with the sales. Going to be a busy winter. Still need to measure for shocks and make a decision on which shocks.

-UCF ultra clearance skid and engine skid (aluminum)
-Custom PRP Enduro Trek seats
-Replacement seat belts
-UCF aluminum fuel tank skid (and new tank straps)
-Savvy corner armor
-New matching aluminum fuel door
-BMB 15" BBK
-Full rear drum brake replacement
-UCF HD tailgate hinges
-4" RJ springs
-Rj bump stops front and rear
-Plan to order the @Fluxor tailgate armor as soon as I get the in stock notification

Also still need to order my GR trail doors and PRP bags. They were only doing free shipping so I'm holding out to see if they do a sale on the doors around Christmas. I don't have a use for the doors until late spring/summer so if nothing else, they'll definitely do free shipping again before then.

They are being cut today. I should have them ready to ship this week. Are you wanting the early or late model?

@Fluxor, I'm also looking to get one of your steering box skids. It says only one left in stock but it makes the most sense for me to wait and order both items at the same time. If that one sells, do you have more of this coming too by chance? Or can you set it aside for me? lol

That’s over here by me if you want them @bbaldwin237. About 30 min drive. I bought mine for $500 in ID. Also the wrong color, and mine were a lot of work because they bedcoated them. I’m still not done with them. But just need mostly to paint and reassemble and fix the door latch. Doors are a PIT left and right cheek!!!!!

I think at this point I'm set on just going with aluminum doors and add uppers later. That's the cheapest, decent looking set I've seen in a while though.

As I've spent a chunk of my morning watching videos on TJ stretches, and more importantly TJ6 conversions, my YouTube wrap up gives me this. So maybe a turbo'd LS or Hemi, Super Dutys, 40s, coilovers, and a TJ6 stretch? 😂 My taste doesn't match my bank account.......like most of us around here.

Hemi is definitely the coolest option. I mean, I already have the Ram with a 5.7 and 8 speed? Though I should probably keep my truck whole.

Well I do have a 360 (5.9) block sitting in my shed & a built 46RE... And a wiring harness already built... Just saying... All you need is motor mounts and trans mount... ;) :);)🤣
