The Jeep sat for about 2 years and then I started working on it again in February here and there after work. I installed a Zeon XD10,000 S winch with Factor 55 Ultra hook, Motobilt 2” highline Aluminum fenders, tub armor, and half door armor. Then I installed a set of 40x13.50x17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT’s on 17x9.5 Vision Manx beadlocks. 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Also put in an odyssey AGM battery, JS alternators 250 amp alternator, and new battery cables from Jeep Cables. Lastly painted the dash and interior with black vinyl vs the factory grey and put a duster deck cover on the back. Next is aluminum corner armor and drop tailgate. I’m running an 8.8 rear and a 30 spline locking hub front. The plan is to get the Jeep driving and working well to enjoy the weather with the top off. I plan to convert to a 14 bolt rear with Spyntech 5x5.5 hubs and a 79 Ford 60 front with Chevy knuckles and spyntech 5x5.5 hubs as well along with a 6” rear stretch and double triangulated 4 link in back and 3 link in front.

WOW you're pushing the limits of both axles running 40" tires even if you're just driving it on the street. What gears are you running? Auto or stick?

Didn't know Spyntech offered a 5x 5.5 hub for the Dana 60 or 14 bolt... The only ones I'd seen are offered by Solid Axle. There are a few vendors I know of who carry their hubs. https://solidaxle.com/collections/wheel-hubs

Why a 6" stretch in the rear? At that point why not just do a TJ6 conversion? It all sounds like a good direction you're headed. When doing your suspension watch your control arm length.

Sorry for the confusion as Spyntech and solid axle are the same company and I’ve been dealing with them for many years.
Converting to the TJ-6 would require me to redo the cage, inner fenders, floorboards, stretch the body and a lot of other work on top of the other modifications I need for the 6” stretch.

I'm just not a FAN of the CompCut look & from most TJ's I've seen doing a 6" stretch in the rear requires you to cut up the body. I've got a 5" rear stretch on mine & I'm pushing it...

It will not be comp cut as I have new corners that will be used very similar to these.
They are still in prototype currently but have already been designed.

COOL, I'm guessing Motobilt or local fab shop? Look forward to seeing it.

What are you going to do for a fuel tank? GR or MB or fuel cell?

Cool.... Have a few of your parts on my TJ....

That’s awesome definitely appreciate the support. Just finally got back to working on the TJ and excited as I’ve had it for 10 years. Just doing upgrades slowly and collecting parts as you well know Jeeps are expensive.

Mine was parked for 10 years due to health issues.... But I'm getting close now to having it ready for some wheeling....

I blended one of your bumpers & 8274 mounts together since I'm a upright winch fan...

Welcome to the site and look forward to watching your TJ transform...

Are these new corners going to be steel or aluminum if you can disclose that yet? And I wish they'd offer those taillights for a TJ too.

Both steel and aluminum. It will be a modified version of the lights and they will be sick!
