I’m doing revolution 5.13 in a LJ rubicon 44 front. For the pattern I have I added .007 under the pinion bearing while using the factory .055 slinger. I have backlash set at .008. It seems like the coast side could be a touch closer to the root but don’t love the sharp line on bottom of drive side. I had a .010 shim under bearing and the line on drive side was sharper and there was no rounding as it moved to the top. What do the experts say?
